Our Simple 4-Step Divorce Process

We guide you through every stage, start to finish

Is Our Service Right For You?

Before you begin, please ensure your situation meets these requirements for our uncontested divorce service:

Full Agreement: You and your spouse must agree on all separation terms (like parenting, support, property division if applicable). The divorce must remain uncontested throughout.

Residency: At least one spouse must have lived in the Canadian province/territory where you intend to file for at least one full year immediately before filing.

Separation Period: You must be separated for at least one year before the court can finalize your divorce, but you can start this process and submit documents to the court anytime after you separate.

Spouse's Current Physical Address: You must know your spouse's current physical address, as this information is required for the official court documents. The following conditions also apply based on their location and how you file:

If Spouse Resides Outside Canada: To use our service, you must choose a Joint Application (where both spouses sign cooperatively).

If Filing a Sole Application: Your spouse must reside and be able to be served within Canada. (Our Sole Application service is limited to serving documents within Canada.)

Service Areas: We currently serve residents filing in: Alberta, British Columbia, Manitoba, New Brunswick, Newfoundland and Labrador, Nova Scotia, Ontario, Saskatchewan, and Yukon.

Step 4: Filing & Finalization

The final steps depend on your chosen package:

Gold Package (You File): Follow our detailed, step-by-step guide to submit your signed documents to the appropriate court registry and pay the mandatory court filing fee directly.

Platinum Package (We File): Simply return the signed documents to us. We handle submitting them to the court (including e-filing in BC, AB, ON where applicable/eligible*), manage communications with the court registry, and invoice you separately for the mandatory court filing fee before submission.

Divorce Granted: We track your case (Platinum) or you track (Gold) and notify you once the Divorce Order is granted and takes effect (31 days after being granted).

Remember, official Divorce Certificates can be ordered separately if needed (See Step 7 of application or contact us later).
